Hello! SO winter here has officially arrived (technically it is still fall but it sure feels like winter). It is COLD and it actually rained the other day. Once it really starts raining I here that I will basically be drenched for 5 straight months. EXCITING. I am very grateful that I only have one winter here in Chile. This week I received some wonderful letters from the young men and young women of the Pacific Palisades ward. Honestly it meant sooooo much to me to get those letters and to read those words. You guys are sooo cute and I am so blessed to have your support. Thanks to Ashley and Beverly and the other leaders who helped to force (lol) the yw-ym write me: ). I absolutely looovvveee receiving letters. They make me feel up when things are down. I just want to say one little thing about families. I am truly blessed to have the family I have back in the states. Many people in Chile don’t understand the importance of them. There are many broken families and I really fee that that is the casue for 90% of the problems down here. It is not very common to find a family with two parents who are married and love each other and love their children. Good Dads are especially hard to find. I hope everyone who has two parents who love them is grateful for what they have. We had a baptism this week. It is so great to see the change in the lives of the people we serve. Honestly this work is so rewarding. Thanks to everyone for their love and support. Mi compaƱera y yo estamos super bien aqui en Chile! Con Amor, Hermana Gamboa
